Ordering
Pick your game first (the list is sorted by what's currently most popular on InstantNode), then a plan. Paid plans come in the same six tiers for every game - Starter, Basic, Standard, Pro, Elite, Ultimate - and whichever one we recommend for that specific game gets a badge, since a FiveM server and a Minecraft server don't need the same horsepower. A free Minecraft tier is also available if you just want to try one out.
Some games offer a variant at order time too - Minecraft, for example, lets you pick Paper, Purpur, Vanilla, Spigot, Bukkit, Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge, and more, plus the exact version. Minecraft is also the only game that requires ticking the Mojang EULA to create the server.
If an install fails, you're refunded automatically - you may see a charge followed immediately by a matching credit on a failed order. No action needed on your end.
Managing your server
Start/stop/restart, a live console, and a full file manager come standard. Up to 3 backup slots (whole-instance snapshots, can run while the server is live), one-click SteamCMD updates for supported games, and an auto-renew toggle.
Settings editor
Every game gets a settings page that edits the real config file directly - no manual editing needed for the common options. The server needs to be stopped to save a change, unless you tick "stop and restart automatically" while saving.
Plugins, mods & workshop
- One-click plugin store: Minecraft, CS2, and Rust (Rust needs a loader variant - Oxide, Carbon, or Magma; a Vanilla Rust server has no plugin support until you reinstall into one of those).
- Steam Workshop browser: Garry's Mod, Project Zomboid, Unturned.
- Every other game manages mods through the file manager.
Switching games
Reinstalling a server can install an entirely different game - same plan, same resources, same port, same price. Free, since only the software changes.
Games that need a linked account
A handful of titles won't download at all without an account of yours that owns the game - the panel doesn't ask for this at checkout, so if you order one of these, link the account afterward from the server's Reinstall page:
- Farming Simulator 25 & 22
- DayZ
- Assetto Corsa
- Hell Let Loose
Enter the Steam username and password (and a Steam Guard code, only if Steam asks for one after a first try), then reinstall. The password is used once for that download and never stored - only the username stays, so you can see an account is linked.

The panel flags a few other games that need something specific from you, right on the server page:
